Father John Misty Releases 3 New Songs, Each Labeled A “Generic Pop Song”

In the buildup to the release of new album, Pure Comedy, Father John Misty has shared 3 new tracks. They’re each titled “Generic Pop Song,” numbers 3, 9, and 16. If you hear them, you get exactly why he applies that label as he uses electronic drumming and processed vocals, as you come to hear with a lot of radio-friendly tunes.
