Chance The Rapper was called upon to be the musical guest of the last Saturday Night Live episode of the year, and he did so in such style. Chicago and POD fave Chano took the stage to perform lively renditions of “Finish Line/Drown” with the help of Noname and “Same Drugs” with Francis and the Lights. Both performances gave you goosebumps, and helped spread a little cheer and joy as we head towards the holidays.

But Chance’s influence in the episode went beyond playing his Coloring Book tunes. Chance The Rapper became Chance The SNL Guest Cast Member when he took part in a couple of skits. Chance and Keenan Thompson parodied Run DMC’s “Christmas in Hollis” with their own track about having one last Christmas with President Barack Obama in the White House, “Jingle Barack.” The throwback-sounding Rap jam featured lines about legal weed under the Christmas tree, Home Alone movies, Obamacare, and the prez taking up smoking again. Run DMC’s own Darryl McDaniels appeared and delivered one of the best lines, while Leslie Jones dropped her own dope verse about her weakness for VP Joe Biden! Check that out below.
