The Growlers Release ‘City Club’

The Growlers - City Club

The Growlers have released their new album, City Club. The California band, pioneers of Beach Goth, worked on the album with The Strokes lead singer Julian Casablancas, who produced the album and is releasing it on his label Cult Records.

Casablancas didn’t just provide production on the album, also lending his vocals for a verse on glittery “Too Many Times.” City Club is made up of 13 tracks, including the previously released “I’ll Be Around,” “Night Ride,” and the titular song.

We were able to see the Growlers perform a lot of these new songs at their Chicago show last week at Thalia Hall. Check out our recap here.
