I don’t think there are many that rep for their hometown when they are on the road more than Boi Jeanius. The dude breathes Chicago and is taking the city by storm the way that he wants to take it. No gimmicks, no wackness, and certainly no jukeboxes (see what I did there?). I’ve been jamming to this “Champion Sound” mix all weekend since Friday’s release too much that I forgot to post it. Boi J is known to throw a little cumbia here and there in his mixes and sets, heck he even has a Pura Pinche Cumbia night at Simone’s, it’s only right that we get a taste of what he throws down for a mix.
