2016 Pitchfork Music Festival Announces Schedule & Festival Features

The 2016 Pitchfork Music Festival will be taking place this forthcoming Friday, July 15 to Sunday, July 17 at Chicago’s Union Park. We’re a month away from the festivities and to gear up today we’ve received this year’s schedule.

Three-day passes are still available for $165 and single day passes for Friday and Saturday are available for $65. The final batch of Saturday single day passes have now been released. Check out the full schedule below.The Pitchfork Music Festival is also excited to announce The Old Town School of Folk Music Kids Area, a special new addition to the 2016 festival for families attending with younger children. Old Town School and Wiggleworms welcome young children and families to an interactive musical world! Kids will be encouraged to experiment with instruments, drum, strum, and pick up some fun festival giveaways. The kids area will be open Friday 3-6pm, Saturday/Sunday 12-6pm.

Additionally, the festival has recently announced the Pitchfork Music Festival Voter Engagement and Mobilization Project, a new platform to support voter registration and political participation. In conjunction with the Public Action Foundation, the Voter Engagement and Mobilization Project aims to make a difference in both Chicago and the wider Pitchfork community.

As with previous years, the festival will feature Flatstock, CHIRP Record Fair, Coterie Craft Fair, and Book Fort. More information can be found here.
