Friday night headliners LCD Soundsystem capped off the first day of Coachella 2016 and during their set they made it more than worthwhile for onlookers by peppering in a couple of special live covers.
James Murphy and crew paid tribute to the late David Bowie by covering his song “Heroes” and they gave a nod to Saturday’s headliners Guns N’ Roses by doing some of “November Rain” as they were playing a live rendition of their own track “New York I Love You.” Check that one out above and see more footage below.
