Album Review: TWENTY88!

So, are we just going to ignore the fact that Big Sean and Jhene Aiko teamed up on a nothing short of amazing album? First and foremost, the duo has collaborated in the past which include the hit tracks “I Know” and “Win Some, Lose Some” off Sean’s prior album Dark Sky Paradise. So we’re already aware of how great they really are together… and now we have an 8-track album to showcase their continued eminence.

The Detroit rapper’s lustful and solid verses contrasting with the famous LA singer’s melodic flow actually end up complimenting one another while delivering the trials and tribulations of modern relationships. The pair definitely provides insight for their young adult audience with this salacious toned project all while hitting topics that other artists fail to emphasize on.

Although, the entire album is magnificent, I’d highly recommend listening to Deja Vu, On the Way and my absolute favorite, Talk Show.
