To help promote the forthcoming David Bowie tribute concerts in New York, R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe appeared on The Tonight Show as the musical guest and covered a Bowie classic.
Stipe did a rendition of “The Man Who Stole World” with the sole accompaniment of a pianist, delivering a fitting cover. Check it out above.
