Video: Kanye West Performs “Ultralight Beam” w/ Chance The Rapper, Kirk Franklin, The-Dream on ‘SNL’

Kanye West made his long-anticipated return to Saturday Night Live last night, performing his latest material off newly released (that same night!) album The Life Of Pablo.

Yeezy first hit the SNL stage last night to perform “Highlights,” accompanied by Young Thug, The-Dream, Kelly Price, and El DeBarge. The big moment of the night came with song number 2, “Ultralight Beam,” which finally brought to life that Kanye-Chance The Rapper collab that Chicago has been waiting for for far too long. That performance took us to church, thanks to the additional help of Kirk Franklin, The-Dream, Price, and a Gospel choir! See that above.

Some comic relief to Kanye’s appearance on the show was provided via his rap battle with Kyle Mooney. Mooney had some bars, not very good ones but at least he had them, but Yeezy obliterated the poor fool. Check that out as well.
