Jack White’s Third Man Records Will Release Music From His 90s Detroit Bands

Jack White Third Man Records

Third Man Records’ Vault subscription series has another cool release coming, this time highlighting their main man Jack White. The latest installment will hold live performances by Two Star Tabernacle, The Go, and Jack White and the Bricks, all bands in which White played back in the 90s.

The performances will be released as three LPs, featuring songs written by White and all of which were recorded at Detroit’s Gold Dollar venue in 1998 and 1999. According to Pitchfork, early versions of eventual White Stripes songs like “Hotel Yorba” and “Now Mary” (on the Two Star Tabernacle LP), and “Dead Leaves & The Dirty Ground,” “Candy Cane Children,” and “You’ve Got Her in Your Pocket” (Jack White and the Bricks) will be included in this LPs package.
