Iggy Pop Announces Josh Homme-Produced Album ‘Post Pop Depression’, Shares “Gardenia”

Iggy Pop Post Pop Depression

Shortly after unveiling their collaborative project Post Pop Depression via a live performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Iggy Pop and the record’s producer Josh Homme (of Queens Of The Stone Age and Eagles Of Death Metal fame) have shared the studio version of lead single “Gardenia.”

The album, conceived in Homme’s desert studio in seclusion with help from Queens Of The Stone Age bandmate Dean Fertita along with Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders, will arrive on March 18. Iggy Pop says in a statement:

A lot of geezers my age don’t work out of their comfort zone anymore because once you become legendary you don’t want people challenging you.
