in case you hadn’t heard, Chicago’s getting a major New Year’s Eve event this year on the Riverwalk and today its organizers have revealed its inaugural lineup. Among the acts performing at this new event we find some artists that we have featured on our pages including Kweku Collins and long-time POD faves The O’My’s. Also on the bill are veteran rockers Chicago.
According to Chi-Town Rising website, the event will see a new Chicago tradition for celebrating NYE with “a dazzling countdown featuring our iconic Chicago Star rising 360 feet into the night sky, and an epic fireworks display.”
Chi-Town Rising will be broadcast live on NBC 5 and Telemundo from 11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
