Unknown Mortal Orchestra have shared their video for “Necessary Evil.”The animated visuals have an Over The Garden Wall aesthetic in its design, with psychedelic vibes that echo UMO’s sound in this track.
Director Sean Solomon said about the video:
The video is an abstract love story about two characters whose insecurities and paranoia eventually drive them apart. I tried to show both character’s perspectives using elements from the lyrics. I had a team of amazing animators and friends.
