The Talkhouse Music podcast put together Vic Mensa and Future Islands lead singer Samuel T. Herring for a chat backstage at this year’s Pitchfork Music Festival while the two were in town performing for it.

The half-hour conversation saw both artists discuss how they used to steal records when they were kids, how he got into Hip Hop as a purist and how his thoughts on “selling out” to the industry has changed, albums leaking, and those famous dance moves of Herring’s.
