I remember the first time I saw Screaming Females I was surprised at the ferocious Punk of their live show and I was amazed by the guitar work; my date, was not too impressed and didn’t much appreciate how much that band name was taken literally. But the band recently took part in A.V. Club’s A.V. Undercover series to cover something that she might actually enjoy nowadays: a cover of Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off.”
This song won’t be going away anytime soon and it makes sense that anyone from rappers and now even Punks would want to sing along. Check out the live cover above.
