“Record Store Day” Announces 2015 Release List

“Record Store Day” is starting to shape up these days, even more so now with the unveilingĀ of the full list of exclusive releases coming this year.

Record Store Day 2015 is Saturday, April 18th, and some of the highlight exclusives include records from J. Dilla, D’Angelo, Metallica, Foo Fighters, and Run The Jewels.

Check out the list of releases coming on this, the holiest of music days, after the jump.

  • Father John Mistyā€™sĀ I Loved You, HoneybeeĀ 7ā€³, which was pressed on heart-shaped vinyl and features ā€œI Loved You, Honeybeeā€ (an alternate version of ā€œI Love You, Honeybearā€) and the new, exclusive ā€œIā€™ve Never Been A Womanā€
  • J. Dillaā€™sĀ LoveĀ 7ā€³, which features unreleased material, as well as a 45 of ā€œFuck The Policeā€ shaped like a police badge
  • Dā€™Angeloā€™sĀ The CharadeĀ 7ā€³ which features both ā€œThe Charadeā€ and ā€œ1000 Deathsā€ fromĀ Black Messiah
  • A 10th Anniversary special-edition pressing of the Decemberistsā€™Ā Picaresque
  • A reissue of Grizzly Bearā€™s 2004 releaseĀ Horn Of PlentyĀ on ā€œsplatter treatedā€ colored vinyl
  • Metallicaā€™s 1982 demo tapeĀ No Life ā€˜Till LeatherĀ reissued on cassette
  • Mastodonā€™s single ā€œAtlantaā€ on a 12ā€³ picture disc
  • The Flaming Lipsā€™ two rarities EPs,Ā Bad DaysĀ andĀ This Here Giraffe, on colored 10ā€³ vinyl
  • Foo Fightersā€™Ā Songs From The Laundry Room, a 10ā€³ with previously unreleased early ā€™90s demos including a song called ā€œEmpty Handedā€ and a cover of Kim Wildeā€™s ā€œKids In Americaā€
  • A vinyl reissue of the Dead Milkmenā€™s fourth LP,Ā Beelzebubba, originally released in 1988
  • Courtney Barnettā€™sĀ Kimā€™s CaravanĀ 12ā€³ which includes a cover of John Caleā€™s ā€œClose Watchā€
  • Vampire Weekendā€™sĀ StepĀ 12ā€³, which includes the remix featuring Danny Brown, Heems, and Despot, as well as an instrumental version of the track
  • A Run The Jewels 12ā€³ with 4 songs including the previously unreleased ā€œBust No Movesā€ featuring SL Jones
