Consequence of Sound continues its Video Vault series and once again they’ve delivered a fantastic, rarely seen clip. This time around CoS and JBTV unearth some footage of Chicago’s own The Smashing Pumpkins playing in their hometown at the venue they helped make so special in the 90s.

In this video the band is performing what would go on to become one of their classics, “Today.” The crowd was ecstatic and the Pumpkins were really reaching for the skies. It’s truly a beautiful thing. See that performance above.
