Quarterbacks is one of the bands that we just came across this year and from the first click on the “play” button I fell in love with their simplicity, their bouncy aesthetic, and their penchant for cutting the lights right when a song starts to build. Even while leaving you wanting more, you forget the frustration that comes with those abrupt song endings and focus more on the quality that those morsels of songs.
Today the band partnered with NPR to offer fans an advance stream of their new album as part of the “First Listen” series.
