Surprise move of the weekend came via Rihanna who made use of some down time on the content front this Saturday to drop her highly anticipated collaboration with Kanye West and Sir Paul McCartney. The tune is called “FourFiveSeconds” and it rides a simple acoustic riff to deliver their “no fucks given” message.
Much like he did for Kanye’s “Only One,” the former Beatle’s contribution was limited to just providing some instrumentation (this time around it’s the guitar work), while Ty Dolla $ign is also present on this song providing background vocals. The guitar part from McCartney plays the central role, almost like if Rihanna was an upcoming singer-songwriting showing her edge while rocking a six-stringer. And that organ part, though!
