Green Day, Nine Inch Nails, Smiths Nominated for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2015; Vote!

Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame

Here are the latest nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2015: Green Day, Nine Inch Nails, N.W.A, the Smiths, Lou Reed and Sting. The acts with the most votes will be announced toward the end of the year and will be inducted on April 18th, 2015 at a ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio.

For a third consecutive year, voting is open to the public which will be counted alongside that of the artists, historians and music industry insiders of the Rock Hall voting body. From now until December 9th, fans can vote on RollingStone.com for the nominees they’d like to see inducted. The top five acts will comprise a “fan’s ballot” that will count as one of the ballots that determine the Class of 2015.

The “class of 2014” was legendary as it saw Nirvana inducted in their first year of eligibility and KISS finally making the cut (after 15 years of being eligible) thanks to an overwhelming support from its fans (myself included) via the public vote option.

Well now, get to voting!
