Aretha Franklin – “Rolling In The Deep” (Adele Cover)

Aretha Franklin Covers Album

This song just doesn’t seem to go away, and that sure isn’t a bad thing… The latest act to pay homage to the British songstress is a true icon in her own right, Aretha Franklin. The legendary Soul singer will be releasing a covers album this October 21 called Aretha Franklin Sings the Great Diva Classics, and this is our first look at what’s to come from the diva.

Aretha’s version draws parallels with the original with her voice making a notable difference in this cover, and the inclusion of the chorus of another classic, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” only makes this better.

Hear it below.

The new album will also feature covers of Etta James’ “At Last,” Alicia Keys’ “No One,” and Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive. See the full track list, with the original artist in parenthesis, below.
