I was never a big fan of House music with the exception of the old Chicago stuff I grew up around, but with Vic Mensa‘s recent use of that style for his own music made me a tad bit more open to the genre. Earlier today Bloc Party lead singer, Kele Okereke released a new cut from his upcoming solo project, Trick and it’s a good little House track. The track is called “Doubt” and while Kele’s voice is easy to identify if you’re a fan of the band, the House beat takes a bit getting used to and soon enough it’ll take you to a whole different direction that works pretty damn well.
