Team USA was eliminated yesterday at the hands (feet?) of Belgium, but did so putting up a hell of a fight. Easily, the best player on the field was the US’s goalkeeper, Tim Howard, who had an amazing game keeping things 0-0 through regular time. Howard would end the match with a record-setting 16 saves, the most by a goalie since records were started being kept starting in 1966.

Belgium eventually won 2-1 in extra time, but there’s no denying Tim Howard was the highlight of the game. See those amazing saves in the video above or on ESPN.
