The Vines are back?! F*ck yeah! The video for “Metal Zone” was premiered by Noisey and directed, produced & edited by SPOD, is and excellent return to form with a heavy Garage Rock sound and those classic melodies this band has always been known for. “Metal Zone” is taken from the band’s forthcoming album, Wicked Nature, due out September 2nd of this year.
These guys were one of the seminal bands of the early 2000’s back when the “the” bands were hitting the scene in what was a new Rock movement. Frontman, Craig Nicholls took much of the headlines right from the start due to self-destructive tendencies and plenty of crazy antics away from the stage to soon basically dropped off from relevancy, but (us) fans of their music always knew these guys had the talent to overcome all of this and deliver on their promising start.
