Chicago is finally represented well on the XXL Freshman cover. I seriously thought last year would be the year, but we received only one spot and Chief Keef was in jail, so he couldn’t even part of the cover. This year, Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensa, Lil Bibby and Lil Durk all got a spot on the cover and they are well deserved. Isaiah Rashad is someone else who we are really happy to see on the cover. We were recently introduced to Jarren Benton, so we will be on the lookout for more new material from him.
