One of the bands that I was lucky enough to discover for myself was Warpaint, thanks to their inclusion in SPIN’s showcase at Stubb’s. Today, the LA group has released a double video for two songs from their self-titled album, “Disco//Very” and “Keep It Healthy.” The former shows the ladies strolling along a park road, dancing to the mesmerizing groove of the first track with skater Justin Eldridge doing tracks in the background. The latter also features skaters, with Patrick Melcher, Kris Markovich, Rob Smith, Laban Pheidias, Victor Zanoni joining Eldridge for a late-night session in a barely-lit park. The song itself has a slower tempo and a darker tone, that works as a great contrast to what’s seen and heard on the first half of the video.
