Video: Nirvana’s ‘Unplugged’ Turns 20

Today (12/14/13) marks 20 years since Nirvana performed one of the best editions of MTV’s Unplugged series. Lead singer Kurt Cobain asked for the stage to look like a funeral and the band performed a set list filled with somber tracks from their 3 album catalog and some covers, but minus the hits that made them the biggest band in the world at that time. It is especially powerful to feel the vibe this gives considering Cobain would take his life not long after this was broadcasted.
