The Black Lips Announce New Album, ‘Underneath The Rainbow’

The Black Lips

The Black Lips have announced the follow-up to 2011’s Arabia Mountain will be Underneath The Rainbow, set for release on March 18, 2014. Artwork will come courtesy of photographer Mick Rock, while boasting production work from The Black Keys’ Patrick Carney and Ed Rawls. Dap Kings music director Tommy Brenneck also helped with the new album.

We first discovered this band back in ’11 when they played Lolla and we were very impressed, so this news comes at a perfect time to start prepping for their return.
