posted by Oscar December 31, 2013

Chance The Rapper - The Source

In yet another example of why 2013 was the year (so far) for Chance The Rapper, the young Chicagoan is now featured on the cover of The Source’s “Rookie of the Year” issue. To no surprise the 4th annual ROY prize goes to Chano, who put out an excellent mixtape in Acid Rap, opened for the likes of Kendrick and Eminem and even had a North American headlining tour of his own in the Social Experiment Tour.

Get your copy of The Source’s new issue when it hits stands on January 7, 2014.

To say the least, our list of the Dopest mixtapes of the year features their releases but it also showcases other projects from other SaveMoney members, Rockie Fresh, and King Louie. These are 13 “tapes” on this list of what we liked this year.
