Video: Arctic Monkeys Unveil New Song, “Do I Wanna Know?” Live

The Arctic Monkeys used their return to the live stage to debut a new track called “Do I Wanna Know?” At their first live show in almost a year, the Majestic Ventura Theater in Ventura, California saw Alex Turner and the rest of band play the new track which sounded a bit like Humbug-era “Monkeys,” boasting a slightly heavy sound and slower tempo. It definitely sounds good and may very well turn into a fist pumping anthem at future shows.  The band are expected to release their fifth album later this year.

The band last performed live at the London Olympic Games Opening Ceremony in July of last year, after their Suck It And See tour, which ended at Metallica’s Orion Music + More festival in June 2012. The band will appear at Sasquatch Festival in Washington on Friday (May 24) and will play six more US dates before jetting across the pond for their run of European festival dates, which includes a headline set at Glastonbury Festival on June 28.
